Like a lot of high school kids, Curt Strohacker worked in a service station to earn some spending cash, but he also repaired cars in his free time, buying and selling countless vehicles, and learning valuable lessons about restoration. As the market for automotive refurbishing began to take off in the 1970s, Curt realized that proper tools and techniques could save enthusiasts like him time and money.

So in the fall of 1978, Curt launched a business to better serve the burgeoning market of auto restoration and customization hobbyists, and he called it Eastwood.

The Eastwood Concours LT HVLP paint gun has many features of the professional guns, but it was specially designed to require the least amount of air possible. This makes it ideal for the home user without a big 80 gallon compressor.

THE EASTWOOD CONCOURS LT100 HVLP PAINT GUN FEATURES:

The Concours LT provides great atomization and wide spray pattern. The LT has excellent transfer efficiency with little over-spray. Aluminum anodized body for chemical and paint resistance. Brass machined air cap, stainless steel passages and durable construction for years of reliable service. Compatible with solvent and waterborne coatings. Includes 1.3mm nozzle size, with optional sizes available separately. Includes plastic cup, cleaning and kit. Operates on only 4.5 CFM at 30 psi, ideal for small home type compressors.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Please note that many variables affect the adjustment of a paint gun including paint viscosity and type, atmospheric conditions such as humidity, barometric pressure and temperature as well as air inlet pressure and operator preference. Always 'tune' the gun before each use as prevailing conditions may not be the same as the previous use. It is always best to test spray on sheets of cardboard or masking paper with the actual paint you will be applying while making your adjustments to become familiar with the gun and achieve the ideal Fluid Control Setting.

A 5/16in I.D. minimum air hose at a 25' maximum length is strongly recommended for best results. A smaller I.D. hose and greater length may produce unsatisfactory results. A clean, dry, regulated air supply is required. The use of an additional 'on the gun' regulator is strongly recommended to accurately control gun pressure while painting. Clean out the paint cup as well as the paint gun air and paint passages with a solvent such as Eastwood PRE or acetone to remove any residual manufacturing impurities before use. Dry thoroughly.

CERTIFICATE:

Always wear eye, skin and respiratory protection when painting. Always paint in a well ventilated area. Follow paint manufacturer's instructions and MSDS for specific safety warnings and precautions.
